On offer is this stylish pair of signed sterling-silver cufflinks entitled “Fireworks” by Kurt Eric Christoffersen, 1950s. The pair is in excellent vintage condition and are quite robust, weighing in at 20.6g. The design is eye-catching and unusual, one of the lesser-seen examples of the different themed series that Christoffersen made. Christoffersen (1926-1981) was a Danish artisan who emigrated to the USA in 1949, working in menial jobs to pay for his tools. This design is timelessly classic by one of the 20th-century’s great artists.
